Continue to Fes (NO RETURN to Marrakech)

Select this option to continue on to Fes on day three instead of returning to Marrakech with the rest of the tour. On Day 3 you will depart Merzouga and join another driver to head towards Midelt. After lunch along the route (not included) you will make a brief stop to see the Barbary Monkeys in the Cedar Forest near Azrou before passing through Ifrane, Morocco's alpine "Swiss" village. Then it is on to Fes for drop off.

Discover erg chebbi: An Introduction


Embark on an unforgettable journey to Morocco! Start off in bustling Marrakech and make your way through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains, marveling at Kasbah Ait Ben Hadou. Then take a deep dive into Dades Valley before finishing up with an awe-inspiring tour of Erg Chebbi Sand Dunes—all within just three days! Pack your bags for this beautiful expedition that allows you to experience all of Morocco's natural wonders and cultural delights firsthand.


Day 1: Marrakech – Ait ben haddou – Dades Gorges - Tinghir


Driving Time: 5 hours 40 minutes

Begin your 3-day adventure with a journey through the towering peaks of Morocco's Tizi n Tichka Pass. Stop to explore the Telouat Kasbah and marvel at Ait Ben Haddou, an incredible UNESCO World Heritage site featured in countless films! Continue on towards Ksar Taourirt in Ouarzazate before making a desert trek across Skoura Palm grove and up into tranquil Rose Valley where you can discover brilliant kasbahs surrounded by stunning natural landscapes. Wrap it all up with a night spent in Tinghir complete with dinner for a true Moroccan experience.


Day 2: Tinghir – Todra Gorges - Erfoud – Dunes of Merzouga


Driving Time: 4 hours 45 minutes

Go on an unforgettable journey and explore the exotic Sahara with your morning departure towards Merzouga. Enjoy breakfast at your accommodations in Tinghir, then take in some breathtaking views of the red-rock canyons at Todra Gorge. Afterwards make your way through Tinjedad before finally reaching Merzouga Desert for a camel ride across its sands - and take in an unforgettable sunset! Top off this adventure by camping overnight beside the dunes for an enchanting night like no other surrounded only by peace and serenity


Day 3: Merzouga - Ouarzazate - Marrakech


Driving Time: 8 hours 30 minutes

After a hearty breakfast, take the camel ride back to the picturesque Merzouga village. The next leg of your journey will be a thrilling adventure through incredible undulating desertscapes and a stop in a local village for lunch! Then it's off again on a scenic drive ascending through the majestic Atlas Mountains en route to arrive in Marrakech by days end!

For accommodations inside the Medina where vehicle access is limited, we will arrange a convenient nearby meeting point and share the exact location and pickup time in advance via email and WhatsApp.

Your vehicle is designed for long-distance travel, mountain roads, and desert terrain to ensure a safe and smooth experience.

    👳 Knowledgeable Local Driver: Your experienced local driver will accompany you throughout the journey. More than just a driver, they are familiar with the landscapes, cultures, and routes of the region and are happy to answer questions, share insights, and assist you along the way. Please note that according to Moroccan law drivers are not allowed to act as guides in any destinations. They are licensed for touristic transportation and support only.

    🙏 Tips & Gratuities: Gratuities for your driver, local guides, and camp staff are not included. We are proud to pay fair, livable wages to our team. Tipping is always optional and entirely at your discretion, but if you feel the service you received was exceptional, gratuities are always sincerely appreciated.

    🎟️ Entrance Fees: Entrance fees to monuments, museums, kasbahs, film studios, and other attractions are not included unless explicitly stated in your itinerary. This allows you the flexibility to decide which sites you’d like to enter based on your interests. Please note that on shared tours the time available to visit many of the sites along the route is extremely limited.

    🍽️ Breakfast on Day 1 and Dinner on the Final Day: Breakfast on the first day and dinner on the final day of your tour is not included. Please be sure to have breakfast before your scheduled pickup, especially as the first day often involves an early departure and a full day of travel.

    🥗 Lunches: Lunches are not included. Each day, your driver will stop at recommended restaurants along the route where you may choose what you’d like to eat based on your preferences and budget. This gives you flexibility and freedom of choice throughout the journey.

    🛍️ Personal Expenses: Any personal purchases made during the tour—such as souvenirs, gifts, snacks, clothing, optional activities, or additional beverages—are not included and are at your own discretion.
