Day 15: Journey to Casablanca

Begin your final day in Morocco with breakfast in the historical city of Meknes, a place filled with stories of sultans, ancient gates, and vibrant souks. As you enjoy your meal, reflect on the journey you’ve taken across Morocco, from the sands of the Sahara to the coastal breezes of Essaouira, each destination a unique chapter in your adventure. With your bags packed and memories abundant, you’ll set out towards Casablanca, the bustling metropolis that represents the modern heartbeat of Morocco. The drive takes you through diverse landscapes, from rolling fields to urban outskirts, offering a last look at Morocco’s contrasting scenery.

Arriving in Casablanca by midday, you’ll feel the city’s vibrant energy as you enter its lively streets filled with a blend of modernity and Moroccan heritage. While your journey may be coming to an end, there’s still time to explore Casablanca’s highlights. You may choose to visit the majestic Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, where intricate Moroccan craftsmanship is displayed in its towering minaret, colorful mosaics, and oceanfront setting. If time permits, a stroll along the Corniche offers a relaxed view of the Atlantic, where locals gather at seaside cafés and restaurants, a reminder of the city’s connection to both tradition and contemporary life.

As you wrap up your day, take a moment to savor your last experiences in Morocco, whether it’s enjoying a Moroccan pastry at a café or a final walk through the bustling streets. Casablanca’s blend of cosmopolitan flair and Moroccan warmth is a fitting end to a journey filled with cultural encounters, breathtaking landscapes, and unforgettable moments. With a heart full of memories, you’ll leave Casablanca having seen the depth and diversity of Morocco, each memory a reminder of the incredible adventure that brought you from the ancient medinas to the heart of this vibrant city.

Such a Great Tour with Amazing Guides

Such a great tour with amazing guides. The drive was long but the coffee breaks and attractions were spaced out perfectly and broke up the long journey. The camp was beautiful, clean, and comfortable and food was delicious!!

Best Communication

We really enjoyed this tour. The communication was one of the best ones I experienced on a tour. From the agency to the tour guides and staff in the camp. Everyone was very nice and friendly and communicated with us on every step of the way. Our guide Saïd was great. He explained everything and was very friendly and helpful along the way.

Once in a Lifetime Trip

We booked a tour for our group of 17 all the way from Mexico City and I must say, it was really a once in a lifetime trip! We spent almost a week with Discover Sahara Tours and they truly deliver a personalized experience! Great accommodations, delicious food, excellent guides (they arranged Spanish speakers for us) and the sites we visited were amazing! We are super grateful with Ismail and his team for this dream trip. Highly recommend! No doubt they are the best to plan your next trip to Morocco

What an Incredible Experience

If you’re thinking of taking this trip I would stop and book. What an incredible experience this has been. I felt totally immersed in this beautiful experience all thanks to our lovely guide Moham. He is the kindest soul who has shown us so much patience and kindness along the way. Get one coffee into him and he will share all the desert secrets there are to share. I left this trip so enriched by this experience. The people at the camp have also been incredible hosts, who made it feel extra special. On this trip I have made friends who I hope to keep in touch with for the rest of my life, a gang of kindred spirits!
