Ismail is... read more a very nice guy, always smiling, sociable and likes to explain the information about cities and Moroccan culture. He is a really good driver and very respectful.
On the first day, we passed through the Atlas in direction to Ait-Ben-Haddou, where we had a tour visit with Said to know a little bit more about berbere culture. We ate an amazing chicken tagine there. Then we head to Zagora, where we had a team of Caravane du sud waiting for us with the dromedaries. We had a 1h ride on the dromedary accompanied by our friendly guide, Mohammed, to our camp. We arrived just on time to watch a magical sunset in the desert. We chose a luxury camp, that was absolutely amazing, with a tent with all the commodities that we could need. The tent was heated, with carpets on the floor, beds for all of us, and private toilets with shower. We had dinner on a tent restaurant, with really good and traditional food. At night all the guests reunited around the bonfire listening typical music and dancing. The sky is absolutely amazing and perfect to see the stars. On the next day we watched the sunrise in the mountains (after a nice breakfast). Then we returned with Ismail back to Marrakech, with a stop in Ouarzazate and Middle Atlas.
Ismail was a really nice company, and made this experience unique! I felt very safe during the trip, and Ismail always let us comfortable to choose which places to visit during the trip.
All the organization made this experience even more pleasant. It was also richer to know more about Moroccan culture and discuss the differences between European culture.
Really recommend this experience.

p.s. just be careful riding the dromedary.

The trip took around 2h and half from... read more Marrakech to Essaouira. We did stop where is the goats in argan tree and also to the argan production shop to see how they transform the argan fruit to other products.
Then we arrived in Essaouira were our guide was waiting us. We had around 1h and half with him and he left us in the local restaurant. That’s the only thing that I didn’t like. Even though, food was good I preferred to chose the place I go to eat.
After this lunch stop, we had few hours by our selves to discover the city.
At 16:00 we met our driver to go back to Marrakech.
Before arriving Marrakech we did stop in a small local restaurant where you can have some drinks or go to toilet. Looks like all the tour company’s stop at the same restaurant.
In general it was really nice day tour and the service we’ve paid was worthy.

An awesome action packed adventure!  - This was such a fun and action packed trip. We saw so many interesting and beautiful sights and had so many adventures! Rene & Ismail were fantastic tour guides and... read more great company, Ismail was an excellent and safe driver (very comfortable van). There were many highlights but top ones include the most delicious lunch in a Berber family kasbah (best bread ever), seeing how Berber rugs are made at a cooperative and haggling for a small one, camel ride, tented camp, sand surfing and quad bikes in the Sahara, visiting Nomads in the desert and eating Nomad pizza, walking (& climbing) through the Monkey Fingers in the Dades Gorge, Ait Ben Haddou & the Atlas Studios .I could go on! We loved every minute and arrived back in Marrakech exhausted but very happy. If you are doing this trip we advise a day or two to relax afterwards!! We would thoroughly recommend Discover Sahara Tours and loved the fact that they could bespoke the tour for us. Thank you Rene & Ismail!

However I think what made this trip the most memorable was the friends... read more I made along the way. Moham our guide was an actual blessing. A kindred spirit full of joy, happiness, knowledge and excellent sense of humor. He took time to show us places but also teach us about them as well as join us in all the fun adventures. The camp was amazing, I loved participating in all the fun activities, and everyone there showed us nothing but patience and kindness I will never forget. The trip became more than just a guide tour but a road trip with great friends.

We Got to witness a night sky full of stars and also see the sunrise the following morning along with some delicious food. We were provided warm blankets and slept well. I just wanted to add that the company is also absolutely fabulous - I forgot my scarf on one... read more of the buses and the guide came to my hotel the next day to return it and REFUSED my tip! Absolutely amazing! There are many companies offering these tours in Morocco but this is THE ONE to go for if you want top service.

Excellent experience throughout the whole trip. Very good service from our guide Ismael, super kind and fun. Worth the money!
