We were 8 people in a nice, clean van with Ismael, from Marrakesh to Fes, with several... read more stops during the 3-day tour. Ismael is an excellent driver. It was awesome how everything was planned and on time at all the stops. We learned a lot about the Berber culture and visited different communities and Kasbahs. On the second day of our stop, we had a walking tour with Said, a beautiful morning walk around Tinghir. We stopped in a Kasbah to learn about the berber’s carpets, colors, and symbol meanings. We did not enjoy the food at some of the stops, so we went to other places nearby, and we found better prices and a more authentic experience than in the traditional “tourist traps”. The food stops for lunch are something that they need to improve. Of course, the best part is on the second night when we rode the camels to see the sunset and then arrived at our tents in the desert. If you have issues with your back or shoulders, I suggest you try to go to the tents by car. Everything in the desert was perfect. The food was abundant and delicious (when we were full and ready to go, they gave us the best Lamb Tahine we had on our whole trip. The tents were incredibly comfortable, with running water and an Occidental toilet. We had a firepit at night with live music under the stars. The sky was fantastic!!! Stargazing was very easy, even near some of the lights in the camp. We went in December, so you need to be prepared for a very cold night/morning.

Absolutely amazing! There are many companies offering these tours in Morocco but this is THE ONE to go for if you want top service.

Memorable and authentic experience.  - Our guide was Ismail and he is very charismatic, friendly, and organized. We had a lot of fun exploring the charming Ait Ben Hadou village, although it would’ve been nice... read more to have more time. It was still enough though.

The camel ride was enjoyable because it’s very different from riding a horse and it’s also beautiful as they make sure to take you during sunset. After the sun sets, we arrived just on time to our Berber camp (the people indigenous to Morocco). There, they treated us to an epic tagine, good company, and Berber music around the fire. We finished the night with star gazing before sleeping in a luxury tent (compared to regular camping ofc). The next morning, it’s mostly driving back except for a very enjoyable lunch on a balcony with mountains hovering over you. I’m glad we did it and next time will probably do a 3-4 day trip.

Disclaimers you should know:
1. it’s a LOT of driving about 6 hours each day total. The first day is broken up with stops to a mountainside cafe, a town that’s been around since the 12th century and where they filmed many famous movies including the gladiator.

2. The camel ride is a lot of fun but be warned that the dunes are pretty small since we only get to the tip of the Sahara desert. If you want to get deep into the desert, you have to do a 3 or 4 day trip.

3. Bring layers if you’re going in the winter cuz it cools down a lot. I wore two layers of pants and two sweatshirts. I recommend a hat and gloves too.

The tent camp was extremely Nice . You could do Some sandboarding ! Really big fun for the kids ! The food was good ! Even the showers were Nice although we were in a tentcamp. At the evening there was Some live music and people starter dancing . The next day we went back by camel to our van to go back to marrakesh. This all was in good hands by our guide .

Awesome Tour! - We booked 2 private trips, 1 quad biking with a meal in the dessert and the other a trop to Essouria. Both trips were with our amazing driver Mohammed. The... read more tour operator was very accommodating and responsive to communication. I maintain you never know how good a company is until you have a problem. I was unwell which meant we needed to move a trip. This was done with good grace and without issue, for this we are very grateful.

Both trips were amazing, we had a clean, air conditioned vehicle. The driver, Mohammed is a credit to the company, polite, professional and nothing was too much trouble. He genuinely wanted us to have a great time and is passionate about Morocco.
